OUR Constitution: Let’s Put It Away
I’m constantly hearing people on talk radio talking about the things the Democrats are getting away with at that moment, then reciting chapter and verse of OUR Constitution, brilliantly proving the unconstitutionality of whatever it is.
For instance, a woman called into the Mark Levin Show last night and asked Mark to comment on the constitutionality of President Obama’s meeting with the city mayors regarding their use of the stimulus money, after their state’s Republican governors have decided not to accept it. Mark said that it would be unconstitutional for the mayors to accept stimulus money, because “the state ‘trumps’ the city”, but continued that they would get the money anyway because the Democrats don’t care about OUR Constitution.
In the President’s mind, OUR Constitution is just another failed policy of the Bush Administration. During his campaign, he proclaimed that the “…framers made fundamental errors” and [OUR] Constitution is a flawed document which did not address the “redistribution of wealth“, but in his two oaths of office, he swore to uphold OUR Constitution–lying once again.
We conservatives must change the way we think. We must redirect our energies to more effective strategies. We need to give up trying to impress our enemy using OUR Constitution.
John Adams, one of the framers of OUR Constitution and the second President of the United States said “…OUR Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” So men and women of the Conservative movement: the constitution is OUR Constitution–it does not belong to the Marxist-Leninist, Communist Socialists.
In Senator John Edwards’ speech in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 29, 2003, he spoke of “two America’s”. He was correct–not in the “one rich and the other poor” sense, but we are IN FACT two nations. We haven’t lost OUR nation. We are the Conservative Nation–like the Nation of Islam claims to be a nation. The other is the demonic, Godless, freedom-less, lying, cheating, Communist nation, with which we are at war.
We have had enough. We aren’t going to take it anymore. We are through trying to win over our enemies by quoting them OUR Constitution. Jesus taught us “[not to] cast pearls before swine”. The socialists have no regard for OUR Constitution, they just ignore it–their Supreme Court has filled it full of holes with their leftist rulings. OUR Constitution will be there waiting for us, ready to be used again by OUR nation, after we win this war. We aren’t going to win this war in the democrat-corrupted election process either, so we can’t wait for 2010 and 2012.
It’s going to take Partisanship, and plenty of it. No more “across the aisle” cooperation.
We are Conservatives. We are resistant. We are insistent. We have the courage to disobey laws designed to destroy our families, our free enterprise system, our Judeo-Christian religion, etc. We will back families, businesses and churches in their resistance to any law which works against them. We insist to only do business with other conservative people. We insist to only work for and/or hire conservative people. We insist on the removal of non-conservatives from our businesses, schools, and churches, including the pastors.
We stand with our fellow conservatives and we are ready to fight and die for OUR nation, and look forward to the day we can govern ourselves using OUR Constitution.
